Are You Addicted to the Green Gecko Deli?

I have a problem, and I'm told admitting it is half the battle. What started as a simple lunch pleasure has grown into a massive Green Gecko addiction. I must confess though, I don't really want to find a cure.

If you haven't been to Green Gecko, you need to set your sites on City Center Plaza for your next lunch. You will be thanking me and talking about them to everyone you know.

Their sandwich selection is vast and varied, with hot and cold as well as Panini. If you don't find one you like (I can't imagine this happening), they also offer a build-your-own option where you get to pick from their amazing meats, cheeses and veggies. The problem with this is there are so many you will need a longer lunch just to make your selection! My personal favorite is the Big Italian - six meats, two cheeses, chopped peppers and olives on a baguette.

They have a variety of salads and fresh baked goods to accompany your sandwich, but be warned; you will first have to look at the top shelf full of cheese! There are so many varieties you will need to dedicate one whole shelf in your refrigerator just to accommodate your purchases. My current favorite is the Creama Kasa.

And Green Gecko just added a new seating section, so you can relax and enjoy your lunch (and be close at hand to order a dessert)!

My problem is that I can't seem to stop at just buying lunch! They have cheeses, wines, vegetables and fruit, sundried tomatoes, olives ... and the list just goes on. You can even find things like goat and rabbit. Most things are organic and local!

I would tell you more, but it's almost noon. You know where you can find me.
