Unlimited admission to explore the Downtown Appleton museums  for the full month of September!

You’ll get unlimited admission to some of the best museums in Appleton, packaged into one convenient pass with big savings. Your Museum Month Pass will guide you from museum to museum allowing you to experience the arts, history, imagination, and so much more!

Choose between one of the passes below to receive unlimited admission to 5 Downtown Appleton museums including: Appleton Historical Society, Atlas Science Center (Formerly Paper Discovery Center), Building for Kids Children's Museum, Hearthstone Historic House Museum and the Trout Museum of Art. 

  • Single Pass: $25, for one individual to receive unlimited visits to the 5 participating museums of the full month of September.
  • Family Pass: $100, for one family (2 adults and any children who live in their household) to receive unlimited visits to the 5 participating museums of the full month of September.

Your Museum Month Pass provides you general admission pass into each of the museums starting September 1 - 30. Regardless of your purchase date, this pass is only valid September 1 - 30, 2022. This allows you to enjoy all museums at your own pace as many times throughout the month as you would like!  Plan your trip according to individual museum hours for your personalized voyage through Appleton.

Passes purchases can be made online, in person at the Appleton Downtown Inc office, or over the phone 920-954-9112. Your pass will then either be mailed to you (at an additional shipping cost) or you can pick them up at the Appleton Downtown Office. 

Your pass will lead you to explore these GREAT museums:

Appleton Historical Society, 128 N. Durkee Street

New exciting displays on Appleton's Great History.  See the Then and Now of Appleton's Past.  Also, a recreation of the Jimos Hat Cleaners and Shoe Shine Parlor.  Continuing are Unique Manufactured Items, and our wonderful collection of maps and overhead views dating from 1840.

Building For Kids Children's Museum, 100 W. College Ave

Building for Kids Children’s Museum’s mission is to inspire discovery and build resilience through intergenerational play-based learning and exploration of the arts, sciences, and humanities. With two floors and over 30,000 square feet of exhibit space, every visit to the BFK is a new adventure. Create a masterpiece in our da Vinci Studio, operate the crane in Construction Junction, save the day in our life-sized fire truck, and so much more!

Hearthstone Historic House Museum, 625 W. Prospect Avenue

Hearthstone Historic House Museum is a nationally renown historic site - the first private residence to be electrified using the country's first hydroelectric central power station employing the Edison system. The house still contains original Edison "electroliers," light switches, and some of the world's only examples of original Edison wiring.  It features hands-on exhibits for children on electricity and renewable resources.  Enjoy the  beautiful Queen Anne Victorian architecture with breathtaking interiors and the local history of Wisconsin, the Gilded Age, and fortunes won and lost.

Atlas Science Center (Formerly Paper Discovery Center), 425 W. Water Street

Join us to learn all about the science of pollinators, sustainability, and renewable energy. You will also make handmade paper that you can take home with you!

The Trout Museum of Art, 111 W. College Avenue

The Trout Museum of Art’s mission is to excite the Fox Cities about the visual arts. The activities which allow art museum to fulfill its mission include: exhibitions, educational programming and special events such as the annual Art at the Park artist exhibitor festival, lectures, workshops, and family fun days.
