DOWNTOWN APPLETON FARM MARKET, Saturdays, June 1 - October 12
Experience the area’s largest Farm Market with more than 150 vendors selling fresh produce and flowers, exotic meats and cheeses, breads and baked goods, specialty foods and handcrafted items along with live music!
HEID MUSIC SUMMER CONCERT SERIES: Thursday's, June 6 - August 29, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., Jones Park (No Concert on July 4)
Move, groove and relax to the rhythm of the region’s hottest live bands during our weekly FREE concerts in Jones Park. Enjoy a cold beverage and delicious food from local food vendors during every show! Before or after the show, visit one of our 70+ local restaurants or bars and clubs for a bite to eat or something cool to drink or our 50+ retailers for unique shopping. TASTE OF DOWNTOWN GOLF OUTING: September 4, Reid Golf Course

SOUP WALK, October 12
An event that is a community favorite featuring Downtown businesses and their best soups! Stroll up and down the Avenue enjoying the crisp fall air and changing leaves in between samples. Enjoy a taste at each of the different venues and vote for your favorite at your last stop!
FALL CRAFT BEER WALK: October 19
Grab your craft beer buddies and plan an after sampling craft beer in Downtown Appleton! Visit Downtown bars & restaurants for a sample of unique, seasonal craft brews.
LIGHT THE NIGHT MARKET: HOLIDAY EDITION: November 16, Houdini Plaza
Enjoy a night of holiday fun in Downtown Appleton! Join us as we kick off the holiday season with live music and performances, a treat walk, window scavenger hunt, family friendly activities, and so much more all for FREE!
DOWNTOWN APPLETON CHRISTMAS PARADE, Tuesday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m.
In front of 80,000 spectators, the City Appleton hosts the biggest and the best nighttime Christmas parade in the Midwest. The parade features about 80 units including colorful floats, decorated vehicles, walking units, animals, and other unique entries.

DEATH BY CHOCOLATE - Saturday, February 10
Join us for a sweet day on the Avenue… Death by Chocolate returns! You can stroll up and down the avenue and taste different chocolate treats at participating Downtown businesses, all while shopping for the perfect Valentine’s day gift!
AVENUE OF ICE - Starting February 23
Stroll up and down the Avenue viewing handcrafted ice sculptures in front of the unique boutiques, specialty shops and restaurants. Warm up inside local coffee shops, retailers, restaurants and attractions Downtown while you are strolling.
CAFÈ WALK - March 2
A brand new event in Downtown Appleton that will surely warm your heart! Stroll up and down the Avenue and sample different specialty beverages and bakery items from select Downtown coffee and tea shops!
LADIES' DAY SPRING INTO STYLE FASHION SHOW: March 16
INDOOR POP-UP WINTER MARKET - January 27, February 24, March 30
An exciting new twist on our annual Indoor Market! Stroll the Avenue to shop your favorite Market vendors inside multiple Downtown businesses! Locations and vendors will vary month to month. Follow this page or our Facebook to get the latest information for each date.
MINI GOLF ON THE TOWN: April 13
Play a hole of mini-golf at a variety of Downtown bars and restaurants while enjoy food and drink specials. When you’ve completed 9 holes, gather at the “19th Hole” for a fun party and prizes! Team costumes, drink specials, and fun are all par for the course!
CULTURAL CUISINE WALK: April 27
Explore a new Taste of Downtown event featuring a variety of cultural foods from Downtown Appleton restaurants. Take a trip around the world and taste the flavors from a variety of different cultures all in one great place!
SPRING CRAFT BEER WALK: May 11

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE: May 27
The Appleton Memorial Day Parade pays tribute to service men and women that paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in defense of the United States. This solemn event annually draws hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators to Appleton.

FLAG DAY PARADE: June 8, 2 p.m.
Come enjoy the United States’ oldest Flag Day Parade as we celebrate America with bands, floats and other displays. The Appleton parade route starts at Oneida Street on Wisconsin Avenue and heads west to State Street then south to College Avenue. It continues east and then turns north on Drew Street to the City Park.

LIGHT THE NIGHT MARKET: July 19, November 16
Join us for our SECOND Light the Night Market event of the year! Join us as we transform Downtown Appleton into an open air, market filled with food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, hands on activities, street performers, live music, cultural performances, glow lights and more! Light the Night Market will be located on College Avenue between Superior Street and Morrison Street as well as Houdini Plaza.
