Creating a New Story — Releasing the Old Narrative So many times we put undue pressure on ourselves at the turn of the new year. We feel we’re being given a new start and we should take it seriously and change all the things we want to shift on one magical night. And then, a day or a week later, we feel sad and disappointed in ourselves because we let ourselves down and couldn’t keep to our resolutions. This is an invitation to free ourselves from an old narrative that never served. This is an invitation to release and liberate ourselves by choosing grace, intentional rest and peace over the feeling of being stretched beyond our energetic means on all the levels, self-improvement included.
