First Time Home Buyer Workshop

Are you in the process of buying your first home? Join APL in association with the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce and La Casa de Esperanza for a first time homeowners workshop! The goal of the workshop is to assist first time homebuyers with navigating the home buying process and will feature local guest speakers such as a realtor, lender, and home inspector. Participants who attend both days and complete counseling will be eligible to be HUD (Housing and Urban Development) certified, which makes participants eligible for down payment assistance through grants and other support. The event is free and open to all - walk ins are welcome! There will be food and refreshments available to participants. To meet the HUD certification, participants must register to attend the full 6 hours of the 2-day workshop.
