Opening reception is during Art on the Town, August 21, 6 - 9 p.m.
Greg Bracken is offering two of his pastels for a silent auction to take place
during the opening reception. All of the proceeds from the auction will
benefit Soi Dog Foundation and Humane Society International.
Soi Dog Foundation is a not-for-profit organization located in multiple
countries including: Thailand, USA and Australia. Soi Dog helps the homeless,
neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand, works to end the dog meat
trade throughout the region, and responds to animal welfare disasters and
emergencies.
Humane Society International is one of the only international animal
protection organizations in the world working to protect all animals.
Greg Bracken is well known locally for his animal portraits and increasingly
for his impressionistic landscapes.
Pat Dobberke continues to investigate the human form in motion. She has
recently been involved in local ballet and will be exhibiting new pieces
representing various dancers.
