Houdini Plaza

Houdini Plaza in Downtown Appleton is named in honor of the famous illusionist and escape artist Harry Houdini, who spent part of his childhood in the city. The plaza was established in 1985 and has since became a central hub for community gatherings, concerts, festivals, and public events. Today, Houdini Plaza continues to be a vibrant public space celebrating both the legacy of Houdini and the spirit of the Appleton community through events, programming and public art.
