Appleton Downtown businesses are paying attention and they hope that you will too. May 7th - 13th is the annual GIVING HOPE fundraiser for cancer patient support and research. Downtown businesses are offering specials, discounts, prizes, and events to encourage you to shop, dine and play in downtown Appleton this Mother’s Day. Proceeds or a percentage of businesses sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Angels Forever – Windows of Light is proud to have supported the GIVING HOPE event in Downtown Appleton for the past ten years! Once again when you shop at Angels Forever - Windows of Light we will donate 5% of our TOTAL daily sales from May 7th – 13th to the American Cancer Society. We will be offering a gift certificate drawing; donating sales of “Every Mile is Meaningful” Sole Burner bracelets and ; FREE temporary tattoos with a cash contribution to our “Pink Purse”.

In 1980, the 5-year relative survival rate for women diagnosed with early stage breast cancer (cancer confined to the breast) was about 74 percent. Today, that number is 99 percent. Because you have shopped, dined and played in Downtown Appleton, vital funds have been used to educate the public, and provide awareness and support to those affected by cancer. You have provided funds that have made a difference! Downtown businesses and their customers have donated over $44,000 to the American Cancer Society through our annual Giving Hope Campaigns.
While we would love to once again be the top monetary contributor on College Avenue we ask you to please remember to shop, dine and play at all of the local Appleton Downtown businesses supporting the GIVING HOPE event this Mother's Day! Look for Downtown Appleton businesses with cancer ribbons and signs to let you know that they support this event. In addition, you can show your support by participating in or contributing to the SOLEBURNER 5K RUN FUN/WALK or stopping downtown for the Sidewalk Celebration from 10am- 2pm on Saturday, May 13th.
