• Tremendous development momentum with several large-scale projects in progress throughout the district
• People are relocating to Downtown to live and work - 536 housing units built or proposed between 2020 – 2025 and 24% of properties Downtown occupied by offices in 2023
• ADI continues to collaborate with the City of Appleton Government, property owners, Pfefferle Management and many others to keep Downtown a clean, safe, walkable and hospitable environment for both residents and tourists
• BID Grant Investments exceeded $50,000 across multiple grant programs
• Downtown tourism is growing at a steady pace with a total of 103,000 overnight stays in Downtown hotels in 2023
• We continue to invest in marketing efforts including a new image marketing storytelling campaign and the launch of a new website in summer 2024
• Creative Downtown Appleton will take on adding more artistic elements and cultural experiences Downtown including our parklet, Paint the City 3 mural project and more
• Collaborative projects in 2024 include wayfinding signage updates, pet friendly features, walkability improvements, lighting enhancements and more!
