Outdoor Music Returns to Downtown Appleton!
Nothing goes better with sunshine and warm weather than filling the summer air with live outdoor music! Lucky for you, Downtown Appleton is doing just that! Starting this week, be prepared to move and groove to some of the best.
Back again this year is the beloved Heid Music Summer Concert Series every Thursday night! RPM will kick off the series on June 1 at 5:30 pm. Not only do you get to enjoy great music, but also your favorite beverages and food from Downtown bars, restaurants, and vendors in Houdini Plaza. If one concert on Thursdays isn’t enough for you, check out Lunchtime Live Concerts from 11:30 am-1 pm. Step out of your office, home, or work for some fresh air, fresh food, and fresh tunes by local musicians.
The excitement continues - Thursdays are not the only day of the week filled with live outdoor music offerings! Concerts in the Courtyard at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel kicks off this week Wednesday, May 31 at 5:30 pm and will continue every Wednesday night throughout the summer. This weekly series showcases top up-and- coming bands and singer-songwriters from across the country in addition to talented local and regional artists.
New this year on Wednesdays, visit the Creative Parklet for your midweek music fix. This fun, urban park next to Copper Rock Coffee is the perfect outdoor venue to feature local musicians over the noon-1pm lunch hour for this new series: Noon Tunes starting June 7. Grab your sunglasses, grab your lunch from home or takeout from one of many great eateries Downtown, and fill your soul with music.
Starting June 17, you may also find yourself dancing your way down College Avenue at the outdoor Farm Market featuring five to six local musicians every Saturday morning. You may not realize it, but music is all around you in Downtown Appleton –there’s definitely no shortage of live music this summer!
