What is the name of your business and who is the owner(s)?

Fox River Tours. Candice Mortara and Christine Williams

What service(s) and/or product(s) do you offer?

I proudly take humans on public and charter cruises on the historic Fox River.

What inspired you to start your business?

My owners saw an opportunity they couldn't pass up, to offer boat rides on an amazing and historic river.

What are 3 words that describe your business?

Relaxing, educational, funfunfun

If your business had a theme song, what would it be?

Chris Janson, "Buy me a boat"

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Treat your customers like every seat is first class

What's something about your business nobody knows?

My big brother boat in De Pere was originally going to be docked in Appleton, but as we he was being transported by truck from Upstate New York the DNR closed the Menasha lock.  My owners had to make the quick decision to deliver him to De Pere. That's ok, I'm happy to be in Appleton!

What do you love most about being in Downtown Appleton?

I'm happiest on the river with the waves lapping against my hull.   I love watching the bald eagles, grey herons, white pelicans, foxes and turkeys.

If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

I am a super hero.   I float.

What 3 items would you take with you on a deserted island?

Tequila, lime, salt

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

Flood pants, for obvious reasons

Something else fun and unique about your business you want to share?

We'll be open for tours mid May to the end of October.   Can't wait for our second season in Appleton!
