The Business of the Year Award is presented to a business or entity that stands out from the rest and captured the admiration of the downtown.
There's no doubt that Blue Moon Emporium is a well-deserving recipient of this award. Having been located in Downtown Appleton since their establishment in 2013, Blue Moon has been a sought out store from visitors and locals for unique, one-of-a-kind items.
Cathy Stratton, owner of the shop shares "It's often the first place people come when they arrive in Appleton and it's often the last place they stope when they leave."
The shop celebrates all the great things about Appleton; they put a shining light on all the wonderful things. They can tell you stories, show you landmarks, sell you postcards, and showcase all the great artists in town.
Blue Moon Emporium features 75 local artists that need a platform for their art/craft. They bring in unique, one-of-a-kind gifts, and all things Appleton & Wisconsin. The ultimate goal is to bring in products that will bring people joy.
