Hearthstone’s most popular event is back and more chilling than ever in this new theatrical performance that brings you face-to-face with Victorian serial killers!   Every room is dressed for Victorian mourning as guests are greeted with live organ music and can view items that Victorians created to help them mourn, including hair jewelry, post-mortem photography, and others. The tour takes guests in small groups through the museum, led by docents playing the role of Victorian police detectives who introduce guests to their most infamous cases.   Vignettes in each room of the museum bring to life serial killers and their nefarious deeds. Based on the newspaper accounts of the day, the scenes tell about the villains, the victims, and the beginnings of our fascination with true crime. A new cast of real-life murderers are central to this year’s production along with new recountings of two famous killers… one with a direct connection to Henry Rogers, the builder of Hearthstone!
