Mayor Hanna to Hold Open Office Hours on Valley Transit Bus

Mayor Tim Hanna will hold his October open office hours on a Valley Transit bus on Monday, October 5, from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Mayor Hanna will be joined by Wisconsin League of Municipalities Executive Director Jerry Deschane to discuss the League’s partnership with the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin to promote public transit.
Members of the media are invited to ride along with Mayor Hanna, and Jerry Deschane as well as regular route riders for video, photos and interviews. There are two different routes and times to ride-along.
- 1:45 p.m. - 2:10 p.m. on Route 4 – Richmond (travels along Richmond Street to the Northland Mall and back)
- 2:15 p.m. - 2:40 p.m. on Route 3 – Mason (travels along Mason Street to the Northland Mall and back)
Valley Transit provides an average of more than one million rides each year with more than 54% of riders using the service for rides to and from work.
