“Christmas Lights on Parade” is this year’s theme of The 46th Annual Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade. The parade is scheduled for Tuesday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m. The event will feature about 75 units including floats, decorated vehicles, walking units and animal entries.

Twenty marching bands from Northeastern Wisconsin/Upper Michigan high schools and area communities will perform in the parade. The Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade is the largest nighttime parade in the Midwest. "We selected “Christmas Lights on Parade” as our theme because this is all about generations of children and families enjoying this nighttime parade.” according to Greg Otis, Parade Chairman.
