What’s Going on at the Paper Discovery Center this Weekend?

Come join us this Saturday, January 20 for Eagle Day's at the Paper Discovery Center

There will be a presentation at 10:30 AM and again at 1:30 PM:
“WEC Energies Group- Raptor Success Story”
Join Mike Grisar, principal ecologist for the WEC Energies group and researcher, Greg Septon, as they recount how one man’s love for peregrines and an environmentally sound utility company teamed up to restore peregrine and other raptor populations.

12:00 PM and 2:30 PM: “Hoo’s Woods Raptor Presentation”
Educator, rehabilitator and licensed falconer, Dianne Moller, will introduce you to Wesley, a snowy owl; Wapaha, a golden eagle; Catelyn, the peregrine falcon, and a few other feathered friends. Participants will learn about each species’ natural history, breeding, habitat, and behaviors. This program will leave you spellbound and wanting to learn more about these fascinating birds.

The PDC is open from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Special admission for this Saturday ONLY...Adults $6, Seniors $4 & Students $4.
