Craft Beer Walk 2018
Whether you are a Craft beer aficionado or someone just learning to love the flavors of artisan beers, you won’t want to miss Saturday, May 19th. This is the day a lineup of Downtown and Riverfront establishments will serve up the Downtown Appleton Craft Beer Walk from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. This spring edition during Craft Beer Week, will feature delicious Wisconsin-brewed craft beers for spring and summer.
Priced at $20 each, tickets include two 3-oz. tastings at seven locations and a free commemorative pint glass. Each location will have information on hand to educate participants about the styles and attributes of the beers they’re tasting. There are a limited number of tickets for each walk, with day-of sales only allowed if tickets are still available, so don’t miss out! Participants are encouraged to register and purchase tickets for one of four walks at any participating bar or restaurant, or online at beerwalkwi.com.
“Craft beers have gained tremendous popularity, and many Downtown Appleton establishments prominently feature them on their beverage menus,” said Jennifer Stephany, ADI executive director. “Whether people want to taste test and learn more about craft beers or enjoy a leisurely stroll to check out establishments they haven’t yet experienced, this event is a great way to do both.”
Attendees may visit the locations on their walk at their own pace, Stephany says, and sip samples at the participating establishments of their choice in any order.
