Kick Off to Music
The most anticipated week of summer in Downtown Appleton is finally here! It’s time to soak up some rays, grab a drink, a bite to eat, join your friends and family to move and groove to the rhythm of music in Houdini Plaza. You won’t be able to keep your feet from tapping along to the music!
The kick off to outdoor live music starts this Thursday, June 7. Russ Reiser will get the crowd going for Lunchtime Live from 11:30-1pm, but then the Heid Music Summer Concert Series main stage will be ready to rock with RPM starting at 5:30 pm. Mark your calendars now – you do not want to miss out on the first night celebrations!
Of course, the fun continues throughout the entire summer with a great line up of musicians and bands jamming out all day on Thursdays! (Full Line Up Here) That is not the only day with the live beats filling the fresh summer air - you will want to make sure to check out all the outdoor live music in downtown and the riverfront:
- Mile of Music Presents: Concerts in the Courtyard are back again for another summer season! This series showcases top up-and-coming bands and singer-songwriters from music hotbeds throughout the country, with local and regional artists, blended in. Every Wednesday night at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley at 5:30 pm the courtyard will be bumping with beats!
- Riverheath Summer Concert Series takes your outdoor concert series to a whole new level with the beautiful view of the Fox River as its backdrop. Swing down to the water for an evening of food, drinks, and of course live music! Saturday, June 23, July 21, and August 18 starting at 5 pm
- Plus, live music is found every Saturday at the Downtown Appleton Farm Market starting June 16, at each Art on the Town Friday nights, and on various patios throughout the downtown district!
