Octoberfest 2018
A Mile of Fun since 1981, Appleton’s Octoberfest, an event of the Fox Cities Chamber is almost here!
Kicking off the fun on Friday, September 28 from 6-9:30pm will be License to Cruise. This year’s feature vehicle is Chevrolet and classic models will be available for viewing at the Fox Cities PAC. Over 400 classic cars will also line the downtown street.
On Saturday, September 29, Octoberfest begins with the traditional Spaten beer toast at the Houdini Plaza stage just before 9 am – the ceremonial toast is a homage to the annual ritual Spaten keg beer tapping at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany! Following the toast, the live music will begin on all 6 Octoberfest stages throughout downtown – for a full line up of music acts, click here.
Not only will Octoberfest have great music and fun all day, but be sure to check out the Family Fun Area schedule of events as well as visit 150+ Arts & Crafts Vendors!
