What Is ACE?
What happens when local business owners want to pay-it-forward? We come together and create ways to raise money for charity!
How are we doing that? By organizing themed ‘tours’ where the profits generated would go directly into the hands of local charities.
Appleton Charity Events (ACE), brings people together with a common objective of generosity and funnel the group’s pursuit of pleasure into creativity within the theme. ACE’s tours of downtown Appleton allow you to enjoy a day out with friends and family, while knowing you are helping a good cause, as well.
ACE hosts about 4 different tours throughout the year, with their inaugural tour occurring beginning of October with the theme, “I Love the 90s!”. Their first tour was able to raise funds to help Appleton’s VFW.
The next tour..."ACE's Christmas Charity Tour” Those who donate receive a customized cup with ticket purchase. Saturday, December 8th, 3:00 - 8:00 PM, Downtown Appleton. Dress up in your favorite ugly sweater or Holiday costume in support of the local shelter and low-income housing agencies.
