Player 2 Arcade Bar, Michael Joyce and Marissa Emerson
What service(s) and/or product(s) do you offer?
We are a retro themed arcade bar. We offer arcade games and pinball at retro prices as well as alcohol, beer, pizza and snacks.
What inspired you to start your business?
We enjoy playing the games ourselves and we wanted to offer people something entertaining and different to do while they are out with their friends.
What are 3 words that describe your business?
Unique, fun and nostalgic.
If your business had a theme song, what would it be?
It would have to do one from our Guitar Hero game. Jukebox Hero by Foreigner!
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Reinvest in your business. Always strive to be better.
What's something about your business nobody knows?
How much behind the scenes work it takes.
What do you love most about being in Downtown Appleton?
The people! We have met some of the most awesome people and we are thankful for that!
If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be and why?
Leonardo Davinci, because he was an amazing artist and inventor. Nicolas Cage, because he's my favorite actor and seems very interesting. Einstein, because he's a genius. Kurt Vonnegut- because he is an amazing author and said to be an interesting guy!
What 3 items would you take with you on a deserted island?
Paint and some canvas, a swiss army knife, my cell phone and charger.
If you had to describe your business as an animal, which one would it be?
Our business would be a teenage mutant ninja turtle.
Something else fun and unique about your business you want to share?
