Happy 4th Birthday, Lillians of Appleton!
This week Lillians is Celebrating 4 Years! Here is our story!
Kara and Tom are a husband/wife duo who had a dream. The story begins back in 1984 when we met working at the Barclay Square Mall in Rochester, Minnesota. We moved to Appleton in 1985 to follow our careers in retail management. We didn’t have a plan to stay in Appleton but after moving away from the retail life and starting a family we made Appleton our long-term home. Our dream became reality when we purchased Lillians of Appleton in 2016 and dove back into the retail life. In two short years we took a leap of faith and expanded Lillians from 1500 to 3300 square feet. We also grew our Lillians team from two to ten remarkable ladies.
Located in the heart of the downtown Appleton shopping district, Lillians features women’s clothing in sizes XS to 3X, shoes, handbags, jewelry and more. Selections are offered in limited quantities with new arrivals weekly. Lillians has fashions for women of all ages.
There is no single body type, age or style Lillians of Appleton targets. Striving to provide all customers with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, we hope to not only find something special for every lady, but also connect personally with all shoppers. At the very forefront of our priorities is always you--the customer. If you feel anything less than satisfied, our job is not fulfilled! Handpicking from unique vendors all over the country, Lillians carries fashion-forward brands hard to find anywhere else such as Kut, Liverpool, Charlie B, Umgee and more! In addition to our main goals of knowing and pleasing our customers, we are active in helping our community. You will find us partaking in several fundraisers to benefit our area, oftentimes run through our local high schools. Don’t forget to look into hosting a Diva Party, a private night of shopping at Lillians guaranteed to spark fun with all of your closest friends!
