Ahh yes, the school year has begun. Your children are back to school which means life got a whole lot busier and sometimes that means you miss out on family time. As things get busier, do not miss out a chance to do something with your family. There are a bunch of creative activities that you can do in Downtown Appleton to share with your family. Here are just a couple of suggestions of fun activities that you can do with all different ages.

The Fire

The Fire is an art studio located right on College Ave. The studio provides painting ceramics, creating mosaics and fusing glass. All ages are welcome to the studio for some family fun and to get in touch with their creative side. Many children enjoy painting ceramics with pre-made molds, children can paint anything from frogs and princesses to cereal bowls. Pinot’s Palette

Pinot’s Palette is all about unleashing your inner artist. With professional artists instructors, they are there to guide you step by step to creating a masterpiece of the featured painting. For regular classes, they require guests to be 13 years or older. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Pinot’s also provides family nights for children of any age to come and paint. Mud and Prints

Mud and Prints has ceramics, printing, and painting. Have you ever wanted to learn how to spin pottery? Well Mud and Prints has the class for you. The two hour long class teaches you how to spin pottery and you can create a piece. The business allows ages 12+ to take the class. You can book your next pottery class online on their website. Trout Museum of Art

If you aren’t one who prefers to unleash their inner artist, but would rather observe the professionals then the Trout Museum of Art is just for you! You can explore multiple exhibits, and new exhibits come monthly. With a $50 admission fee you and your family (up to four adults and any children under the age of 18) can enjoy the museum year-round!
