New Downtown StoryWalk book up in storefront windows
Over the summer months, Appleton Downtown Inc., Appleton Public Library, and Friends of the Appleton Public Library partnered together to have story book pages displayed in windows of businesses along College Avenue.
Families are able to stroll the district and read a story page while they do it. Each page has a QR code that can be scanned that will lead them to an interactive activity to do together.
The 4th book went up in the windows Thursday, September 24 and will remain up for one month for the community to enjoy. This month enjoy reading the story of “A Map into the World” by Kao Kalia Yang.
The first page of the book is at Crazy Sweet (201 W College Ave) and then the story continues East on College Ave, making a loop around and ending at the Building For Kids Children's Museum (100 W College Ave)
